Categories

New for 2016!

Does an obsession with client care and service flow through every single fibre of your firm? Tell us about how that actually works in practice, what tangible results you can demonstrate together with testimonials from clients that support your claims. Demonstrating your vision for an approach to client care in the future that will support your growth and development plans will be key to success in this category.

New for 2016!

If your firm has a solid and proven commitment to providing small businesses with business advice that goes beyond standard compliance, then this brand new category is the one for you. Judges will be looking to understand the contribution it currently makes to your firm together with case study style information on how this approach has benefited your clients directly. We'll also be keen to see evidence of any growth in your advisory services over the past 12 months.

New for 2016!

If your firm has been trading for a minimum of 1 year but a maximum of 3 years (based on date of incorporation with Companies House), then our new category New Firm of the Year is for you. The judges will be looking to understand your business proposition and vision, your range of services as well as your approach to client care. Provide examples and evidence of your growth to date as well as your plans for future development and we could be calling out your firm's name as the inaugural winner.

If you're a small firm (1-2 partners) and can demonstrate overall excellence in growth, client care and a real commitment to constant improvement then this is the category for you. Judges will be looking for evidence of financial performance to support your claims together with any examples of innovation that helps your firm to stand out.

If you're a medium firm (3-7 partners) and can demonstrate overall excellence in growth, client care and a real commitment to constant improvement then this is the category for you. Judges will be looking for evidence of financial performance to support your claims together with any examples of innovation that helps your firm to stand out.

If you're a large firm (8 or more partners) and can demonstrate overall excellence in growth, client care and a real commitment to constant improvement then this is the category for you. Judges will be looking for evidence of financial performance to support your claims together with any examples of innovation that helps your firm to stand out.

Does innovation run through the very heart of your firm? This category enables you to shout about your approach to innovation, why it's so important to your firm and most importantly provide examples of specific innovations that have benefitted both your practice and your clients. Strong evidence to support your claims will strengthen your entry.

If your firm has seen impressive growth over the past 12 months, then this is the category to enter. You'll be asked to summarise your growth strategy, provide evidence of consistency in growth over the past 2-3 years and describe any intiatives that have driven results. Showing an understanding of how you manage the challenges associated with growth will ensure your entry scores higher marks.

Got a tech whizz at your firm that you couldn't do without? Then nominate them for Technology Champion of the Year. Or, you can also nominate yourself!  Tell us about their contributions to your technology strategy and processes over the past year, what innovations they've introduced and the impact this has had on your firm and clients. For this category you can nominate multiple people in your firm.

Calling all part qualified accounting professionals, it's your time to shine! Another category where you can nominate multiple people from the same firm, this category recognises the commitment and hard graft of trainees. Tell us about how far they've progressed in their professional qualifications and the tangible contributions they've already made to your firm and its clients. The judges are also interested to understand the nominee's ambitions and plans for their future career.

The winner of Outstanding Contribution to Accounting will be a conferred award. More details to follow soon.
